A little update from my side for the tank issue:
I had some troubles with the dealership regarding to fix the tank issue.
I was going mad for not finding the solution and not taking my advise of taking steps.
I had advise them to dismantle a tank of a smart >05-2016 and <08-2016. This because there had been an update from
smart in 06-2016 to fit only 35L tanks. So just to be sure to have correct tank I suggested this.
Dealership didn't play along with it. They got orders from Germany Manufacter (Factory).
They called me: Did you read the manual about tanking? You need to fill till first "click", wait 30 seconds and fill up till second click.
All I answered was: Does not matter how the way you tank it. Slow, fast, waiting, upside down, backwards etc. It's not filling up more dan 22-23 Liters.
But you can manage to fill up to 42 Liters. So it's not tank size, it's pressure of air flowing out when gas is flowing in. To much pressure stops the gas gun.
I got eventually the "After Sales" director on the phone. He told me how to "fill up" how to "tank".
He even asked me: "How much further do you drive when (reserve) tank lights up". (literrally).
I aswered: "Depends, sometime on 5Liter reserve, or when no time or gasstation it fluctuates to 3,5 or 1,5 Liter.
Again: How many km do you drive? Again, fluctuates. Is it 50km or 100km when the light comes on.
I told him that smarts "count down" on reserve instead of just a light.
He said that wasn't true, and there is a light.
I got a bit angry, asked him if he was a clown joking.
A light comes on for reserve and if i drove 100km.
I just said to him... it's a BRABUS Xclusive... driving 1:10 combined. So I have 10L of reserve?
I kindly reminded him, fix this problem or you can fix the showroom window. Cause i'm bringing back the car
1,5 week later I got a call from the dealership (sales who also has the problem with his own car).

It was funny to hear. Cause it's like i'm calling for around 10 months now. (Like others here on the forum with same problem and no fix).
But... no sollution yet, they keep trying etc. I have stated an ultimatum. If it's not fixed before the car turns "1 year", they need to take the car back full refund.
And I'm happy to sue them in court about it. It's a manufacturers prodcution fault, they need to fix it, I didn't pay 32K for a car which has production problems.
Problems can occur, but fix it.

Aber ... noch keine Lösung, sie versuchen es weiter usw. Ich habe ein Ultimatum gestellt. Wenn es nicht repariert wird, bevor das Auto "1 Jahr" wird, müssen sie das Auto zurückerhalten.
Und ich bin glücklich, sie vor Gericht zu verklagen. Es ist ein Hersteller-Produktionsfehler, sie müssen es reparieren, ich habe 32K nicht für ein Auto bezahlt, das Produktionsprobleme hat.
